Driftline was built with your privacy in mind. This policy briefly explains what data the app uses and why.
Driftline stores your progress — such as your highscore, level, XP, streak, unlocked palettes, and earned achievements — locally, on your own device.
If you're signed in to iCloud, Driftline automatically backs up this same progress to your own private iCloud account (via Apple's CloudKit), so it can be restored after reinstalling the app or on a new device. This backup lives in your personal iCloud storage — Driftline has no server of its own, and nobody at Driftline can see or access this data. You can check your backup status in Settings → iCloud Backup, or turn iCloud sync off entirely for the app via your device's Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud.
Driftline doesn't ask for your name, email address, location, or any other personal data, and doesn't automatically collect it either. No in-house tracking or analytics are used.
Driftline shows ads via Google AdMob: a rewarded video ad (via the "Restore Hearts" button) and an interstitial ad after a run ends. AdMob and the advertisers working through AdMob may process device and ad data to load and display these ads. Within the EU/EEA and UK, the app first asks for your consent via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads may be shown; without consent, you'll still see (non-personalized) ads. More on how Google processes data: policies.google.com/privacy.
Driftline does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. The app is not specifically directed at children.
